Global Estate Group bought the former Seyntex site in December 2023. The site at Seyntexlaan in Tielt have an area of just under 8 hectares. The intention is to develop a new, sustainable business park here.

In 2019, Seyntex, a company specialising in clothing for the army, police and fire brigade, moved from Tielt to Aalter. The site was then occupied by Latexco, a mattress manufacturer. After the company was taken over by entrepreneur Luc Tack in 2022, the site became vacant and Global Estate Group was able to buy it.

Now that the purchase is complete, we are starting the process of working out a new use for the site. We are studying which buildings can be retained and will sit down with all the partners involved to work out a well-considered master plan. Our ambition is to redevelop the site into a new, sustainable business park including an SME park for local entrepreneurs.
